Effective pest control requires a plan. Creating that plan, however, requires a bit of investigation, especially before you develop your pest control strategy.
This checklist gives you an idea of what to consider when creating a strategy, and helps you ask the right questions. Print this page and bring it along to help assess every account you treat.
- Determine who's responsible for coordinating pest management in the facility.
- Develop a relationship with the facility manager.
- Obtain a copy of internal pest management policies.
- Agree upon an inspection time.
- Identify treatment restrictions (e.g., times at which you may not treat)
- Identify product restrictions.
- Determine documentation requirements.
- Identify which facility representative will receive documentation.
